Completion requirements

TASK SUMMARY

▶ Students will access a published real estate industry prosecution where consumer protection requirements were breached. They should develop a report based on this prosecution using the headings included in the Student Instructions below.

 

 


RESOURCES AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

➤ Access to textbooks and other learning materials

➤ Access to a computer, printer, internet and email software (if required)

➤ Access to Microsoft Word (or a similar program)

➤ Access to current legislation (such as on the AUSTLII database)

➤ Access to codes of ethical practice/conduct for their state or territory

➤ Class notes, documents and information provided by the trainer

INSTRUCTIONS

◉ You will need to access a published real estate prosecution where consumer protection requirements have been breached. You must complete a report that addresses each of the following points in the following list. You may prepare your report in a format agreed to between yourself and your assessor. For example, you could prepare a written report that addresses each of the checklist items on a separate page or section with headings and a table of contents.
